THE ACT OF HEALING
Understanding the Will of God for Your Healing and Deliverance
COMMENTARY
This small book belongs in the night stand of every Christian who will ever pray for healing for themselves or for someone else.
The Act of Healing was written as a result of the authors experience of being healed on several occasions, including a long history of debilitating pain. It started when he was a teenager and continued until he was past fifty. He was healed while reading every scripture he could find about healing. He explains, "That experience spot-lighted the power of scripture as a faith-igniting, God-given property of every Christian."
Other chapters briefly show our legacy and authority as members of Christ and joint heirs with Him. Scriptural foundation is given for the application of God's Word, and testimonies are provided for your encouragement. They also illustrate the many ways that God can heal, and put to rest any idea that God only works through one or two traditional means. helpful guidelines are presented to encourage faith, to dispel fear and the faith wrecking attitudes that are the common frailties of humans. Following this advice will sharpen your application of scripture.
Chapter six contains every scripture in the Bible on healing. Reading scriptures on healing is profoundly beneficial to your faith, particularly if you think, it couldn't happen to you, or you're not good enough.
