Activities and Programs PREPARATION OF PERSONAL TESTIMONIES:
If you have experienced a miracle of any kind,: healing, deliverance, financial, reconciliation, visionary, or anything else, we would like to her from you. And if you want, we will assist you with writing. This service is offered free of charge You may submit it in the body of an email to jeo@olsonhouse.org .You will find books to help you or your group write their testimonies at this site. Are you an artist, writer or editor and would like to help in the preparation of testimonies for publication, we’d like to hear from you. PUBLICATION: After completion of testimonies they are sent to a printer. Quantities for a first run range around 1,000. Subsequent printings are normally 1,000 for each of several testimonies. Several testimonies have been published by Christian news papers and through the Internet. A book of true stories is currently being completed. Your testimony may come as an email attachment that you may download and copy, or we can publish as many copies (1000 minimum) as you wish. There is a reasonable charge for printing and shipping. If you desire, your testimony may be scripted and reproduced on CD and may appear in a book. If you have access to a copy machine or printer you may publish as many copies as you want, whenever you need. You may also download other testimonies from this site, add your church info and make copies. DISTRIBUTION: Many thousands of testimonies have been distributed by numerous individuals. They have been left or handed out in waiting rooms, Laundromats, businesses, on automobile windshields, at bus stops, in grocery carts, around schools and university campuses, and throughout office buildings. Additionally, testimonies have gone all around the world. Hundreds of testimonies have been hand-carried to Australia and England. Testimonies are being circulated in China, Tasmania and Canada Many more have gone into prisons through prison ministries. Several hundred were picked up from a rack at the airport and were carried all over the world. There are numerous opportunities for distribution which we will be moving into—military chaplaincies, missionary training schools and businessmen’s associations—some of which have already began. Thousands of testimonies have been distributed in food boxes by three churches and two food ministries. One of which is WINN MINISTRIES, a Denver-based, food and clothing distribution organization. Testimonies are popular in nursing homes. Some are being read to the occupants of nursing homes. This is an outreach that we want to expand. We will be looking for someone to head this up. People from other countries are distributing our testimonies and testimonies have been copied from our internet site to others. You may be amazed at the number of places your testimony goes to—places you could never go to or even pronounce—perhaps to many thousands of people! HOW TO DISTRIBUTE TESTIMONIES is a list of 27 ways to distribute testimonies that we have used. It is available for download at “Christian Materials.” Additionally the “Outdoor Literature Stand” and the “Counter-top Stand” detailed under “Programs” are valuable testimony distribution centers that require little maintenance and work for you without your bidding—even while you are on vacation. Additionally, we will be soon recording testimonies on CD and tape. These recordings will also be broadcast. NEWS-STAND PROGRAM

This program is designed primarily for businesses. Like the News-Stand Program, It provides a way for businesses to reach a host of people with very little effort. A two-tier display is provided that may be placed on a counter or waiting room table (or hung on a wall). The advantages are similar to the News-Stand advantages. to fill the stand, stories may be either purchased or downloaded from our Internet site and copied. INTERNET SITE: As stated above, your miracle testimony will be seen by thousands of people all over the world. In addition to this site, others are copying the testimonies you see here and adding them to their sites. There are currently two entry sites, “testimonyword.com” and olsonhouse.org. We will soon provide entry paths for people who are key-word surfing for true stories, employment, healing and others. We are currently seeing over 8,000 hits and over 2,000 visits per month. When we complete improvements that should rise tenfold. SUPPORTIVE LITERATURE: If you are attempting to get a church or group motivated to prepare testimonies, you should have a at least one copy of “Why Write Your Testimony,” which is available at this site, as well as “The Awesome Value of Written Testimonies,” and “God’s Prescription,” available under “Christian Materials.” The book, “Writing His Grace, instructs how to write testimonies. “Letter to John” is similar. It is a letter written to an editor that has been published in several Christian papers. SURVEY: A questionnaire of just five items was assembled concerning the reading, television and radio preferences of the general public. The results of that survey, to date, indicate that only one in twelve people ever watch Christian television, listen to Christian radio, or read a piece of Christian literature. The implications are that Christian broadcasting and publications are reaching far fewer people than implied by the claims of the broadcasters. However, most people surveyed were interested in miracles and would read book of miracles if one were provided. Giving them stories of real experiences is a way to get them interested in the Bible, and interested in church. This survey needs to be continued to include at least 1,000 respondents from other parts of the nation Additionally the survey needs to determine the interest of the public in miracle-based motion pictures. We hope you will help with this survey and call at least 10 people in your town. We will supply the questions and instructions. COLUMN: A newspaper column tilted ”God Did It,” has been continuously published by two papers in Colorado and Maine, and has been republished on the Internet. Several other papers have published the column infrequently. We hope your miracle will be used in this column EVERY HOME: It has often been said that we should have God sized goals that are beyond anything we can accomplish. This is one of those. We hope you and your church or ministry will be motivated to print (or purchase) and distribute packets of testimonies or a small book of testimonies to every home in your neighborhood. The expectation is that this program will motivate people to read the Bible, because they will be given an experience with the living God. The program will be undergirded with a great deal of continuous prayer in every city. WRITING WORKSHOPS: The book, “WRITING HIS GRACE WORKSHOP LEADERS GUIDE:” was written to guide teachers through seminars and workshops on writing testimonies. It contains text and left-column summaries, blackboard exercises, student questions and several handouts. TRADE SHOWS AND CONVENTIONS : If you are participating in a trade show, we hope you will include your testimonies and the others that appear at this site. We would be delighted to have you represent this ministry at a show. Many opportunities are available, such as “The Colorado Christian Ministries Convention.” The cost of a booth, printing and follow-up ranges around $1,000.. CONTACTING OTHER MINISTRIES OTHER CITIES: Almost every ministry that is focused on reaching the lost can benefit from distributing testimonies, especially of their staff: MOTION PICTURES: Recently, a show was produced in which several scientists met together to discuss the case for evolution. The program showed the staggering complexity of the simplest life forms and concluded that evolution was an absurd idea. The only explanation they concluded was that life came from intelligent design. The survey (above) demonstrated that people are interested in miracles. THE AWESOME VALUE OF WRITTEN TESTIMONY Through written testimonies Gods people may reach others who would never enter a church, attend a Christian fellowship or listen to Christian broadcasting, as well as those who do - again and again. They provide the greatest evangelical opportunity most Christians will ever have. They awaken the soul's hunger, reaching into the secret places of the readers' hearts. There, where no one may watch, where the Holy Spirit may urge, things are considered that would not be otherwise allowed. And without the threat of debate or shame, the soil is enriched and seeds of faith take root and hearts are opened for the revelation of the Holy Spirit, "Jesus is Lord." Jesus replied, "Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by man, but by my Father in heaven. Matt 16:17 (NIV) They lift up Jesus, bringing hope to hurting people and urge for decision. They set the Bible into present time, making it relevant for today's challenges. They motivate people to read the Bible. They enter places we can not go; speaking persuasively to people we could never approach, and may never see. They will be found in countries and among societies we can only imagine. The poor and simple may thus turn the hearts of the lofty and proud. A child may move a king. They allow the writer to hone his words to reveal God's love, so that readers may taste the love of Jesus, as the writer has. Written testimonies give readers the next thing to a personal experience with Jesus, demonstrating His comfort, His love and power to deliver and heal.-something a tract cannot do. They will be saved and reread, copied, passed to friends and repeated in conversations the writer cannot hear. It is a traveling ambassador for Jesus. The written word does not fade after it is spoken. It will continue to bear fruit in your stead even after you are gone! Testimonies encourage the strong, build up the weak, and rescue the lost. They offer a relationship with God-something the New Age, occult, and eastern religions cannot They enable you to easily witness to a host of people. It is an important and special opportunity for stewardship of our greatest legacy, God's Grace to us, personally. A nation may only be changed in the hearts of it's people . So, what would happen if everyone in this nation had a taste of Jesus? Abortion clinics would close. Porno shops, adult book stores and occult book stores would fold. Lewd programming would cease. Drug abuse, alcohol consumption and tobacco sales would rapidly decline. Hopeless poverty, malnutrition and filth would vanish. Murder would be rare. vendettas, thievery, insults and even automobile accidents would subside dramatically. The churches would overflow and there would be adequate funding for every good cause And America would once again be under the mantle of God's protection
